Terms & Conditions – Canteen Pre-Order Service

Pre-Order Requirement

All food orders must be placed in advance through the designated platform (website/app/WhatsApp) within the specified time.

Order Cut-off Time

Orders for the day must be placed before the daily cut-off time. Orders placed after the cut-off will be processed for the next available slot.

Payment Policy

Full payment must be made at the time of placing the order. Orders will be confirmed only after successful payment.

Cancellation & Refund

Orders can be cancelled only before the cut-off time.

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 5–7 working days.

No cancellation or refund after food preparation begins.

Menu Availability

Menu items are subject to availability. The canteen reserves the right to substitute or cancel items due to stock or operational issues.

Pickup & Delivery

Customers must collect their orders at the selected time slot.

Delays in pickup may affect food quality, and the canteen is not responsible for such delays.

Delivery (if available) will be done within the estimated time, subject to conditions.

Food Quality & Hygiene

We maintain high standards of hygiene and quality. Any concerns must be reported immediately upon receiving the order.

Allergy Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for informing us of any food allergies. The canteen is not liable for allergic reactions if not informed in advance.

Order Modifications

Changes to orders are allowed only before the cut-off time.

User Responsibility

Customers must provide accurate details (name, contact number, order details). Incorrect information may lead to order issues.

Right to Refuse Service

The canteen reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order due to misuse, fraudulent activity, or unforeseen circumstances.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Force Majeure

The canteen shall not be held responsible for delays or failure due to events beyond control (natural disasters, strikes, etc.).

Eligibility for Refund

Refunds will be considered only under the following conditions:

  • Order cancelled before the daily cut-off time
  • Payment deducted but order not confirmed
  • Ordered item unavailable and not replaced with customer consent
  • Wrong or incomplete order delivered by the canteen

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Cancellation requested after the cut-off time
  • Order already prepared or dispatched
  • Customer fails to collect the order at the selected time
  • Incorrect order placed by the customer
  • Delay caused due to customer unavailability

Cancellation Timeline

  • Orders can be cancelled only before the specified cut-off time
  • Once food preparation starts, cancellation is not allowed

Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be raised through the same platform used for ordering (app/website/WhatsApp)
  • Customer must provide order ID and reason for refund
  • Refund will be verified and approved by the canteen management

Refund Mode

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

Refund Timeframe

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days
  • Bank/payment gateway delays (if any) are not the responsibility of the canteen

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued if only part of the order is unavailable or incorrect

Quality Issues

If there is a complaint about food quality, it must be reported immediately at the time of delivery/pickup

Valid complaints may be eligible for refund or replacement after verification

Duplicate Payment

In case of double payment, the extra amount will be refunded after verification

The canteen reserves the right to refuse refund requests if:

  • The request is found to be invalid or fraudulent

  • Payment processing is handled entirely by certified payment gateways (Easebuzz)

  • With Easebuzz (payment processor) solely to complete order transactions
  • When required by law or a court order to protect our legal rights
  • With FISAT administration for campus operation and compliance purposes
